Job Description

Our client based in Van Nuys, California is continuing to grow, along with its Maintenance Team, and is seeking experienced Structural Technicians who are looking to take their aviation careers to the next level in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on Business jets
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned to you
  • Interpreting and working with engineering drawings

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of aviation experience as a structural technician
  • Ideally have 3+ years of corporate aircraft experience
  • Must have the right to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights above four feet.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
  • Ability to read small print and distinguish colors accurately.

  • Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication work, welding support to include oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, and form work for concrete
  • Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities
  • Install, maintain and repair protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, glues, paints and fencing
  • Major building interior finish repairs, such as the replacement or repair of acoustic ceiling tile and sheetrock ceilings and walls
  • Perform Carpentry installation / repairs
  • Perform Masonry installation / repairs
  • Perform Sheetmetal installation / repairs
  • Perform Welding installation / repairs
  • Perform TFS (Tension Fabric Systems) installation / repairs
