As a Structures Integration Technician, you will play a critical role in the hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of flight and ground hardware. This role requires someone equally comfortable working across structures, fluids, inventory, and manufacturing tasks, as needed. You’ll be expected to bring deep technical expertise, excellent judgment, and a self-starting attitude to a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced, low-oversight environment. We’re seeking someone who’s open-minded, adaptive, and eager to contribute across domains to help bring complex systems from concept to reality.
Job Responsibility:
Take full ownership of work orders, quality buyoffs, and material handling, including occasional support in inventory and materials control when needed
Execute a wide variety of mechanical and electromechanical sub-assemblies, as well as full system-level integration tasks with minimal instruction
Perform critical structural operations: drilling, reaming, countersinking, deburring, and installing precision fasteners per spec
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fluid, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, including leak checks, ATP, and light electrical harnessing
Provide cross-functional support across departments—whether that’s jumping in on a build, troubleshooting a test setup, or organizing work centers
Build and refine custom tooling and fixtures for one-off builds or repeatable operations, contributing to build readiness and safety
Deliver in-the-moment engineering feedback, and proactively redline work instructions or flag inefficiencies to continuously improve processes
Drive process improvement initiatives—applying your generalist lens to find cycle time reductions, streamline flows, and simplify complex tasks
Operate independently in a dynamic environment where priorities change rapidly
bring a flexible, "do what’s needed" mindset every day
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in aerospace, startup, or fast-paced prototyping/manufacturing environments
Demonstrated experience in both flight hardware assembly and production support, including system-level troubleshooting
Ability to work across a wide range of technical areas including fluids, inventory support, structural assembly, and manufacturing
Strong proficiency with engineering drawings, schematics, GD&T, and hands-on fabrication
Familiarity with shop tools, rigging, GSE, and component-level ATP/proof testing
Highly self-directed with a track record of working independently and taking initiative without constant oversight
Strong understanding and practice of 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles
Nice to have:
A&P license preferred
CAD/CAM experience a plus
Sheet metal bending experience
Prior experience with full systems development
Willingness to travel for offsite test or build support
