Job Description

Structures Supervisor Location: Melbourne CBD Salary: 180,000 - $200,000 + superannuation Company: Commercial Builder with a diverse portfolio of builds across Commercial, Residential, Health and more! This builder is best known for their projects ranging from $50m - $300m+ across the country, with a focus on bringing on experienced Tier 1 operators to diversify their business. You will be working on any of their Residential projects that are coming through, values from $100m to $300m, across any of their CBD Fringe sites.

Job Responsibility

  • HSE Leadership: Implement and rigorously enforce all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, including conducting daily inspections, safety documentation, and immediately investigating and correcting all site incidents
  • Schedule Management: Drive the daily project workflow, managing site logistics, coordinating all subcontractor activities, and monitoring the critical path to ensure the project is delivered ahead of schedule
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold technical compliance by accurately interpreting design drawings, performing detailed quality checks on materials, and supervising the timely rectification of all defects and non-conforming work
  • Resource Control: Efficiently oversee and direct all on-site resources, including the supervision and mentoring of site personnel, inspection and storage of material deliveries, and safe management of site equipment
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site communication liaison between the Project Manager, subcontractors, client representatives, and consultants, providing clear daily progress reports and ensuring all meeting action items are closed out
