The Structurer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Job Responsibility
Portfolio performance management, monitoring, hedging, risk analysis. Booking and asset reconciliation, reporting, pipeline and completions analysis, performance and arrears management reporting
Managing originators, servicers and client relationships
Ongoing and ad-hoc discussions with the clients, rating agencies, investors
Asset backed senior financing facilities, structuring and execution, structuring of securitization transactions and principal investment deals with a focus on optimising capital structures of live deals and devising hedging using derivatives
Negotiations with the rating agencies and quantitative structuring for the optimisation of complex abs ABS deals and principal transactions
Transaction execution from deal screening, to due diligence, pricing models, financial analysis
Credit committee approvals (including credit memos and stress analysis for risk) and closing including closing cash flows and legal / operational work
Developing pricing and cash flow models for structured finance transactions across Europe, building of pricing engines, hedging strategy and execution valuation, execution of structured finance transactions
Liaising with third party and key transaction parties including lawyers, working on legal documentation and operational structuring
Performing on-site vendor due diligence and asset level reviews as well as 'reverse' due diligence with ability to analyse and review underwriting, servicing, collections and recoveries processes (including complaint handling etc), applying industry best practices across underwriting, servicing and collections.
Requirements
Prove structuring experience from a financial institution
Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.
