The jobholder will be working as key role to management of a variety of repair topics covering all structural ATAs for all airbus commercial aircraft: Accountable for providing airlines with all appropriate instructions to repair aircraft and damaged structural parts while taking into account airworthiness requirements and operator time constraints; Accountable for providing AOG End-to-end structure repair solution to Chinese customers, bridging technical and spares; Accountable for working as part of a team of dedicated individuals based in Toulouse, Beijing, Malaysia and USA.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse customer’s queries related to structural damages and substantiate the repair query for efficient treatment by relevant Design offices
Provide end-to-end solutions to customers’ structure repair AOG/Critical/Regular queries related to design and documentation
Collaborate and liaise closely with Spare solution team/AOG spare team/Airbus Spares/Satair to ensure that all repair solutions take into account the availability of parts for each repair
Adhere to the ‘Follow the Sun’ working principles, and follow the Airbus processes in place for the Repair Solutions activity
Ensure transfer of in-service experience and maintenance activities to the management, to other divisions of Customer Services and Airbus design organisation including vendors
Participate in the Daily Operational Meeting and report any topic that becomes critical or requires escalation
Liaise closely with Airbus Customer Support directors and the Field service community to ensure alignment on sensitive topics
Adhere to agreed internal quality guidelines
Identify and follow up on damages related to potentially safety critical items
Assist operators on-site for structural damage evaluation or repair work performance, if required
Manage structure repair dossier about 600 per year
Escalate the dossier into DOM if required
Support other team members as back-up and on-duty in holiday
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and above in Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering
Min 3 years relevant work experience in aerospace and the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul industry
Knowledge of maintenance repair practices, equipment and ways of working
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work with multidisciplinary teams in various locations
Flexible, able to work under pressure and work in shifts
Good writing and verbal language skills both in English and Chinese
