Requirements

Minimum 8 years of total aircraft maintenance experience
At least 5 years of heavy maintenance experience
Proven experience in aircraft structural repair
Background on Bombardier aircraft preferred
strong business jet experience will be considered
Ability to work extended hours (50+hours/week)
Must supply own tools
Must be eligible to work as a 1099 contractor

Job Responsibility

Perform heavy structural repairs and modifications on aircraft
Complete double wing plank replacements in accordance with engineering specifications
Interpret and work from blueprints, SRMs, and engineering drawings
Execute structural tasks including drilling, riveting, sealing, and assembly
Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Accurately document all maintenance activities

Aircraft structural repairs and associated tasks
To hold authorisations to the minimum level required by WMS, this is to include first signature within own trade group (Limited to Aircraft structural repairs and associated tasks) and as detailed in OP 1103 and IAW individual Record of Engineering Authorisations (REA)
Maintain technical currency and authorisation through the training program and reading disseminated information

Observing authorised tool control procedures (WMS OP 502) when carrying out Aircraft structural repairs and associated tasks
