Are you a layout expert who thrives on the precision of structural steel? We are looking for 8 skilled Fitters to join a high-production shop in the Nisku area. With projects booked solid through 2027, this is the long-term stability you’ve been looking for. While welding is part of the role, we are specifically looking for "Fit-First" mentalities—pros who can take a complex blueprint and turn a pile of steel into a perfectly aligned masterpiece.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fitting & Welding: Structural steel (beams, columns, balconies, etc.)
  • Blueprint Mastery: Reading shop drawings and putting them into action
  • Assembly: Tack welding and helping move projects through the production line
  • Innovation: Using both manual and robotic welders (we’ll train you on the tech)
  • Safety: Keeping a "safety first" mindset within a close-knit team

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in structural steel layout and assembly
  • Current CWB FCAW (All Positions) is an asset
  • Meticulous with a tape measure and an understanding of tight tolerances
