To manage the assigned structural engineering scope in a project as per schedule with requisite quality.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the assigned structural analysis scope and document the results in order to fulfil project requirements
Identify limitation of assigned structural scope and highlight it to structural lead along with possible solutions
Implement necessary changes in agreement with structural lead
Raise, clarify, and evaluate internal and external interfaces related to assigned structural scope
Contribute to the design review preparation for assigned scope
Ensure the correctness of structural inputs and their implementation on design drawings for the assigned scope
Implement department guidelines, codal provisions for structural engineering to the assigned scope, client/internal design requirements pertaining to assigned scope
Ensure desired functionality for the assigned scope in agreement with lead
Suggest improvements to the relevant structural engineering guidelines & procedures
Monitor the structural engineers and their KPIs for delivering for delivering assigned scope
Guide the reporting structural engineers with respect to the work they are performing and ensure correctness of the scope
Monitor and control structural deliverables for assigned scope
Support in resolving supplier TQ, SQ, concessions and NCRs for assigned structural scope
Participate in the testing activities related to structures at the fabrication yard
Support in resolving queries related to fabrication
Support as a technical point of contact for assigned PO
Ensure HSE in design for assigned structural scope
Support subordinates for timely completion of all the mandatory and relevant e-learning programmes
Spread awareness about following the HSE, ISO and other departmental guidelines within the group
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in engineering (Civil) or Postgraduate in engineering (Structural Engineering/Aerospace Engineering)
Able to work independently
Detailed knowledge of product portfolio within own discipline and awareness of the related interfacing products
Good understanding of governing documents, company regulations and applicable codes/standards relevant to oil and gas industry
Hands on experience in onshore/offshore/Subsea product design engineering including exposure to Fabrication/manufacturing, Assembly and Testing
Identifying and notifying probable changes / deviations in the product w.r.t. project specifications
Total work experience of 6 + years in Structural analysis
