Job Description:

Our Tennessee division is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to join our growing team. If you're a licensed PE in Tennessee with a passion for bridge and retaining wall design—and you're looking for more responsibility, complex challenges, and a team that values your growth—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects
Lead structural designers and review their work on bridge design projects
Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
Perform modeling and analysis
Review and sign off on basic design calculations, quantities, and plan elements
Model, analyze and/or design elements of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines within the project
Work independently and develop task deliverables in a competent and reviewable manner

Requirements:

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocity
Minimum of 4 years of bridge design experience
Proficiency in Bentley CAD and structural design software
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proven ability to deliver quality work within budget and schedule

Nice to have:

Experience working with TDOT and local municipalities is a plus
