In this role, you will act as a technical bridge between users, product management, and development, bringing deep structural engineering knowledge to the product definition, testing, and delivery process. You will validate real‑world use cases and help translate engineering requirements into clear, actionable input for development teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineer who enjoys working with software, influencing its direction, and helping define the future of digital structural engineering solutions.

  • Using high level strategy and feature epics as guides, decide what product features should be prioritized for releases by maintaining a product backlog
  • Apply your knowledge of structural engineering theory, design code requirements, and end user needs to write feature specification documents for the development team
  • Develop technical content such as white papers, presentations, and demonstration videos to promote products and grow user adoption
  • Represent the product and our business at conferences, user visits, and thought leadership forums as a trusted voice for structural engineers worldwide
  • This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions
  • This role requires approximately seven weeks of travel per year, including both domestic and international trips
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements)

Requirements

  • Professional engineering license
  • 5+ years of experience designing civil engineering infrastructure such as buildings, highways, power grids, water treatment systems, or industrial plants
  • 5+ years of experience with structural analysis and design software such as Bentley STAAD or RAM, CSi, Midas, or RISA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex subjects to non-experts
  • Comfortable speaking to large audiences of structural engineers and the broader infrastructure community

Nice to have

  • Experience with finite element analysis software such as ADINA, ANSYS, or Abaqus is a plus
  • Active involvement in professional engineering societies (e.g., ASCE) is a plus

What we offer

  • A great Team and culture
  • An exciting career as an integral part of a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction
  • An attractive salary and benefits package
  • A commitment to inclusion, belonging and colleague wellbeing through global initiatives and resource groups
  • A company committed to making a real difference by advancing the world’s infrastructure for better quality of life, where your contributions help build a more sustainable, connected, and resilient world
