Job Description:

The Structural Landscaper is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on bringing landscape designs to life. You'll work across diverse projects, from constructing hardscape features like retaining walls and timber decking to creating lush garden beds and installing irrigation systems. This role is perfect for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their craft, values sustainable practices, and wants to be part of a team that's transforming outdoor spaces across the Northern Rivers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute both hard landscaping (paving, retaining walls, decking, concreting, structural timber work) and soft landscaping (planting, turf, mulching, irrigation)
  • Read and interpret site plans and construction drawings to deliver projects to specification
  • Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Support project delivery from site setup through to completion
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and environmentally conscious worksite
  • Collaborate with team leaders and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in landscaping, including both hard and soft landscaping
  • Strong technical skills in structural works such as paving, decking, retaining walls, and timber construction
  • Cert III in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or equivalent
  • Full Driver's Licence and White Card
  • Understanding of WHS practices and commitment to safe site conduct

Nice to have:

  • Machinery operation experience (excavators) with relevant licences
  • Knowledge of native plants and water-sensitive landscaping
  • Basic First Aid
