Requirements

Strong background in structural steel welding and fitting
Highly experienced in welding, fabrication, and layout
Proven experience working with HSS tubing and I-beams
Ability to read prints independently and execute work accurately
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Job Responsibility

Weld and fit structural steel components to print specifications
Read and interpret blueprints fluently
Perform fabrication and fitting work with minimal supervision
Work with HSS tube, I-beams, and structural steel assemblies
Ensure weld quality and dimensional accuracy meet project requirements

Excellent math skills required
Ability to pass a tape measure test is required

Job Responsibility

Layout and assembly of fabricated parts in accordance with shop drawings using AISC and AWS standards
Lays out, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products in the shop, according to blueprint and layout specifications, preparatory to welding or riveting
Locates and marks centerline and reference points onto floor or face block and transposes them to work piece
Moves parts into position, manually or by hoist/overhead crane
Aligns parts and make ready for final assembly
Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
Performs non-essential duties as needed

Willing to wear respirator and Tyvek suit in boiler room conditions

Job Responsibility

Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) using E71T-1 wire
Read and interpret structural drawings and layout prints
Fit-up, tack, align, and weld structural components to specification
Perform overhead, vertical, and horizontal welds as required
Work in boiler room environments with PPE requirements
Follow all site-specific safety protocols
