Job Description:

There is a great opportunity to join our Structural Engineering Team in Madrid. We are looking for a structural engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience who is passionate about creative design and structural analysis, who is interested in complex structures and the challenges that come with them, and have strong digital engineering and modelling skills. You will be based in our multidisciplinary Madrid office and will be working with us on the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious projects around the world.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of parametric models, structural analysis models, detailed structural calculations, sketches and specifications
  • Work across a variety of sectors
  • Assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy over time

Requirements:

  • MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering
  • Worked in a similar role previously
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Deep understanding of structural analysis, finite element modelling and structural design
  • Strong knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper
  • Organised and methodical in approach to managing tasks and priorities
  • Collaborative nature
  • Ability to empathise with clients’ needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Used to using initiative to overcome challenges
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Good working proficiency in both Spanish and English languages

Nice to have:

Knowledge of coding (C#, Python) is desirable but not a requirement
