Job Responsibility:

  • Perform structural engineering design tasks of basic scope and complexity under the direction and guidance of senior and associate engineers
  • Apply knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and authority requirements to design
  • Consider construction costings, practice, buildability, and programs as part of design
  • Communicate respectfully, openly, and effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with and assist other disciplines within the organisation to create awareness and broaden knowledge base
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and specifications to grow technical capabilities
  • Conduct site inspections as instructed and in line with ADG’s QA processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Drive, ambition, and genuine enthusiasm to develop and learn on the job
  • Ability to adhere to production schedules with a track record in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with peers
  • Design experience with concrete, steel, and timber framed structures
  • On-site inspection experience
