Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct independent structural engineering assessments for subsea structures including FLET, Manifold, Suction pile, and large mudmat
  • Utilize FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic) and Beam software SACS for design and calculations
  • Demonstrate autonomy in design practices and calculations
  • Propose innovative solutions to project leads based on engineering assessments
  • Review drawings and collaborate with draftsmen to ensure accuracy in advanced phases of projects

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • French speaker preferred
  • Proficient in ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic)
  • Experience with Beam software SACS and hand calculations
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally with offshore subsea projects
