Job Description:

Our client in Memphis is looking for a Structural Engineer or Designer who has experience in Metal Building Design. Fully remote or hybrid opportunities for a candidate who has demonstrated experience using Metal Building Software. Ideal candidate has engineering degree and working towards licensure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and engineer pre-engineered metal building systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations for metal building components and framing systems
  • Develop and review designs using MBS (Metal Building Software)
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, design packages, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with drafting, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs
  • Review customer specifications, loads, and project requirements
  • Support manufacturing and construction teams with engineering clarifications and revisions as needed
  • Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in Metal Building Design
  • Demonstrated experience using Metal Building Software
  • Engineering degree
  • Working towards licensure
