Our Water Team is hiring . . . EOI for Discipline Leader - Structural, Water. As a Discipline Leader (DL), Structural you will influence end-to-end delivery excellence in the Water Australia Business Centre through leading a culture of technical excellence in your discipline. You will work with BC leaders to assess discipline capacity and assist with the career development of your discipline practitioners. You’ll drive development and implementation of discipline specific standard tools, processes, guidelines, design standards, and training materials and pro-active capture and re-use of intellectual property, best-practice development, knowledge transfer and integration in the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading their Knowledge Community
  • Working with the Technical Delivery Leader, Sustainability Practice Leader, other Practice Leaders, Business Leaders and Group Leaders to assess discipline capability and capacity to meet the needs of the market
  • Working with Practice Leaders and Project Managers to advise on the assignment of the right practitioners to deliver projects and the agreed review process / reviewers
  • Development and implementation of discipline specific standard tools, processes, guidelines, design standards, and training materials
  • Pro-active capture and re-use of intellectual property, best-practice development, knowledge transfer and integration in the business
