Ability to work as part of a project team
Perform structural analysis and design calculations (including gravity, lateral, and connections)
Coordinate with other engineering and drafting professionals to help prepare drawing sets
Assist senior engineers in laying out structural systems, preparing specifications, and researching design options and code issues
Obtain Special Inspection certifications (ICC and ACI)
Assist with structural inspections of building structures during construction
Review in the field the structural construction work to ensure that it conforms with the provisions of contracts, plans, specifications, regulations and standard methods of work
Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used
Prepare and submit routine inspection reports as directed
Perform other related duties as assigned
