You will join one of our four units based at our Lausanne hub, part of the Domestic Region for Western Switzerland. The region brings together several complementary units—Road & Rail, Technics & Technologies, Water & Environment, and Building Services—and currently employs around 125 professionals, including approximately 80 specialists within the Road & Rail unit. Some team members are already based in Poland, supporting our international footprint and future growth ambitions. You will become part of one of the six teams that make up the Road & Rail unit. The unit’s core focus is on rail and road infrastructure projects across Switzerland, playing a key role in shaping and delivering sustainable mobility solutions nationwide. In this role, you will actively contribute to the continued growth and development of the transport infrastructure sector, working on technically challenging projects within a dynamic and expanding team.
Job Responsibility:
Create and update BIM models and related documentation in Autodesk Revit across all project phases, with a strong focus on the construction and delivery stage
Model civil and structural engineering works, including excavations and temporary and permanent support systems
Create and integrate as-built and existing-condition models, including point cloud data
Extract quantities and technical documentation from the model, such as material take-offs and element schedules
Produce general arrangement drawings, coordination drawings, formwork drawings, and reinforcement drawings, including related material, part, and order lists
Ensure model quality, consistency, and compliance with internal modeling standards and conventions
Maintain and develop Revit templates, tools, and internal BIM standards
Support team capability development by contributing to internal BIM training and mentoring junior Revit users
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in BIM modeling
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
Solid technical understanding and practical experience in structural and civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure and underground works
Good knowledge of IFC standards and BIM guidelines
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international project environment
Nice to have:
Experience in creating and maintaining parametric Revit families
Knowledge of automation and scripting tools such as Dynamo or Grasshopper
Experience with Civil 3D and/or Tekla Structures
Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC, Trimble Connect)
Programming skills (Python, JavaScript, C#)
