Job Description:

Your future employer is specialist contractor focusing on Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and structural steel systems. They are a leader in steel fabrication and turnkey construction solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and validate design calculations
  • Help the team grow by mentoring junior engineers and providing technical advice
  • Work with clients and managers to make sure everyone is aligned for every project
  • Run the engineering department, taking charge of all design work from start to finish
  • Find better ways to work by using new tools and faster digital processes
  • Organize daily tasks so the team finishes high-quality work on time
  • Fix design problems on-site to help the construction and project teams stay on track
  • Set rules and standards for how designs should be done to keep quality high

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years experience in construction industry
  • Candidates that has IR (Professional Engineer) certification will have an advantage
  • Proficiency in engineering software (Prokon, Tekla, Revit, etc)
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to review and suggest solutions to technical issues at the construction site
