As a member of a team providing services to Airbus, you will have the following responsibility: Sizing of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods; Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts; Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration; Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification; Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and nonconformities; Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Aerospace or equivalent, minimum Master's/Diploma degree
Fluency in English, at least business fluent
Fluency in German, at least business fluent
Several years work experience as engineer in aircraft structural analysis is required
Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young) is mandatory
Solid experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.) should be available
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork with various interfaces to other disciplines
Nice to have:
Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is seen as a plus
