Job Description:

You will join a growing multi-utilities company who have been an established name within the infrastructure industry. You will join an exceptional team of professionals with a highly experienced management team to offer their support throughout your position as well. This position will have you organising and leading the Streetworks team to ensure that key information is available, that work instructions are processed accurately and in a timely manner and that permits are actioned ahead of scheduled work and closed after completion. You will work with the Head of Department to make sure that client contracts and key legislation is understood for the team’s work; you’ll give regular feedback to your team on their progress and performances as well. You will support the Head of Department in managing day to day activities, ensuring that work is prioritised and evenly distributed across your team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the client contract is understood by the team and measures are implemented to successfully deliver against the company's requirements
  • Ensure the team have an understanding of key legislation and are confident in their interpretation of the legislation
  • Support in reporting of key information as required such as: FPN/Section 74/third party escalations/contract SLA performance etc
  • Working with the Head of Department, build effective client/third party relationships and use these relationships to identify improvements to improve work and the productivity of the team
  • Work collaboratively with the operational teams to ensure all required information is provided in a timely manner and that it is accurately completed
  • Support a team strategy that supports positive team relationships and work well across different departments and company offices
  • Support the Head of Department in the processing of team member wages, overtime, holiday, sickness and medical information by required deadlines
  • Ensure your work and that of the team is undertaken safely and in compliance with the company's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence - UK (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Streetworks or NRSWA
  • Good people management skills
