Job Description

You will join a growing infrastructure company who are a specialist utility provider, this role will be to work for the telecoms and civil engineering business units. It’s a great time to join a growing company that has genuine progression opportunities and decades of engineering heritage to learn from. You will be supporting the operational delivery team by completing tasks such as contacting Councils to obtain permits for work to be carried out on site, ensuring that key information is available for the team as well as work instructions being provided. You will work closely with the Streetworks Team and under the Streetworks Team Coordinator to ensure that work is completed to the companies standards as well as it being completed on time.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring that you have a good understanding of the client contract, how this relates to the work you are doing and ensuring it is delivered successfully
  • Ensure permits are in place in advance of any work being carried out and that these are appropriately closed after the completion of the works
  • Liaise with councils to request or provide information in relation to the works being completed
  • Working with councils to resolve any outstanding issues over works being completed, representing the company in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the operational teams to ensure all information is documented or recorded in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy so it can be used confidently in the process
  • Input and maintain key data in the companies system, ensuring the data is accurate and complete
  • Ensuring your work is kept in compliance with the company's policies and procedures
