Ferns Group are a family run business with over 25 years’ experience as an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services. Our Mission is “to be the preferred choice in our field by adding value to our business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.” We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Street Works Coordinator to join our busy, friendly team to support our clients within the Gas, Water and Telecoms Sectors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of daily Street Works activities
  • Raising and managing permits for remedial and interim-permanent reinstatement
  • Liaising with local authorities
  • Jeopardy Management
  • Reviewing of Street Works Charges and mitigating where possible
  • Liaising with management teams on contract and with traffic management suppliers
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with our clients within the Gas Sectors
  • Supporting the Administration staff in their daily duties

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of NRSWA, Street Works Permitting and Traffic Management
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work using own initiative
  • Street Works Permitting: 2 years (required)
  • Due to our location applicants will need to have their own transport
  • All applicants must have rights to work in the UK and be willing to undertake the relevant pre-employment screening checks should your application be successful
