Job Description:

Ferns Group are a family run business with over 25 years’ experience as an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services. Our Mission is “to be the preferred choice in our field by adding value to our business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.” We are looking for a Street Works Administrator to join our Wrotham office to cover the day-to-day management of our utilities contracts. This role is on-site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Importing works from client systems into Works Management Systems, with a focus on accurate information and correction where required
  • Submitting Permits in accordance with the Traffic Management Act
  • Entering permit work starts, stops and registration details across multiple contracts in a timely and accurate manner to tight deadlines
  • Reporting on works instructions received and distribution internally and externally
  • Administration of defective and interim reinstatements, including liaising with Depots, external partners, and Highway Authorities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administration focused role
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An understanding of NRSWA legislation is preferrable but not required as full training is provided
