Job Description

Develop and deliver street (customer) price for a defined product range to deliver target COR and growth objectives in accordance with the Company Price Strategy

Job Responsibility

  • Recommend and manage street price in accordance with agreed methods and approaches to deliver the ‘best view’ of street price to deliver target COR and growth objectives, ensuring independence is maintained throughout
  • Recommend, design, implement and continuously improve tests to ensure the integrity, confidence and accuracy of street price models and support the quality assurance process
  • Conduct scenario planning and impact assessments of potential pricing actions on conversion and retention rates and profitability to inform street pricing decisions and manage risk

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a pricing team with direct responsibility for pricing outputs
  • Experience of building and using demand models, conducting optimisation analyses and setting customer prices
  • Relevant general insurance experience in personal or commercial lines (comprising, pricing, underwriting, product or a P+L function)
  • It would be desirable if the colleague held or was working towards one of the following: ACII, Accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA), MBA or FIA.
