Job Description:

FM Conway is currently seeking a Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Digital Urban Solutions division. As our Street Lighting Installation Operative you will be working within a team of ground workers undertaking electric street lighting installations across a range of high-profile projects in Central London. This is a permanent, full time position based in Central London and from our Dartford Depot.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working within health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments
  • Working with awareness of incident reporting, SWMP and environmental plans provided
  • Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling
  • Ensuring that all site works are executed in a time and cost-efficient manner whilst ensuring regular liaison with the supervisor
  • Maintaining plant, vehicle and materials record sheets to support the works programme as well as ensuring that all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in the Street Lighting industry
  • NRSWA Units 1-9 certification
  • Experience in excavations and reinstatements
  • Must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence
