Job Description

The candidate will be an integral member of the FP&A Process and System Improvement team report directly to the FP&A Process and System Improvement Lead. The FP&A Process and System Improvement team will support FP&A leadership by improving Decision Effectiveness, Process Efficiency, and Stakeholder Experience: Decision Effectiveness: Empower stakeholder decisions with actionable insights delivered through a scalable, robust analytical platform; Process Efficiency: Streamline, automate and integrate firmwide planning and reporting, in support of a fast-paced, high-performing team; Stakeholder Experience: Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset to drive exceptional results for internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will actively participate and drive critical engagements with FP&A, the wider Finance organization, and other functions in collaboration with the FP&A System and Process Improvement Lead.

Requirements

  • 3 - 6 years of experience within financial institutions or as a consultant serving the financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in a STEM, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another analytical discipline, with a strong academic record
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed analysis, identify issues, and contribute to developing practical solutions
  • Adept at creating clear and impactful presentations using PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel for complex data manipulation, analysis, and basic financial modeling
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in working on transformative initiatives and working effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

  • Drive the identification of data sources and data requirements to feed into the Accounting Hub and Sub-Ledger
  • Participate in testing, deployment of system modules and provide inputs to defining the future state service delivery and sustainment model
  • Participate in strategic ledger governance meetings and complete deliverables within Integrated Project Plan
  • Own workstream deliverables and manage intra- and inter-dependencies across business stakeholder groups
  • Build strong relationships with Program Office Leaders, Program Sponsors and Technology Leaders as well as stakeholders in other Citi-wide initiatives (Finance Data initiative, Consent Order), Product Control, Financial Control, and operational stakeholders (FRSS) to identify further transformation opportunities
  • Provide workstream level metrics and business cases including risk reduction and efficiency measures
