The Role Global Design is looking for a Strategy & Operations Analyst to support the Design Operations Directors and Strategy & Operations Manager as part of the broader Design Operations leadership team. In this role, you will help run the business of Design by: •Supporting staff and operating rhythms •Tracking our highest‑priority initiatives and workstreams •Creating clear, compelling analysis and presentations for leadership •Helping to map and improve key processes and workflows •Managing key org data, metrics, and engagement moments This is a highly visible position that requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, comfort working with data, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. What You'll Do Perform strategy and operations tasks as needed to support Design Ops leadership and the Strategy & Operations Manager, including but not limited to: Translate leadership strategic priorities into clear plans and objectives for the supported function. Maintain an integrated view of work and priorities (timelines, owners, dependencies, risks) to inform planning and capacity discussions . Support the team's operating rhythm (staff meetings, reviews, scorecards, action logs) and contribute to lightweight governance materials. Help map and review core workflows to identify pain points and help design process changes that simplify, standardize, or automate work. Help define and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports , and conduct ad-hoc analysis to inform trade-offs and prioritization. Distill information into leadership-ready materials and support org design, workforce discussions, and key communications/engagement moments. Serve as a connector across strategy and operations efforts, helping ensure plans, metrics, and ways of working are aligned across teams. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Management, Operations, Analytics , or related field; or equivalent relevant experience. •2 + years of experience in roles such as business operations, project management, analytics, consulting, or program coordination . •Demonstrated ability to: oStructure problems and break them into clear, actionable workplans. oWork with data (Excel and SharePoint) to build reports and simple models . oCommunicate clearly in writing and in presentations with a range of stakeholders. What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications) •Experience in a large, matrixed organization and comfort working across functions (e.g., Design, Engineering, IT, Finance, HR). •Prior exposure to design, product development, or manufacturing environments. •Hands‑on experience with: • AI tools (i.e. Glean, Copilot) • Process mapping and basic project management methods •Proven track record of contributing to process improvement, governance, or operating cadence efforts. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office five times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
