The Strategy & Operations Manager for Sales Development (SD) and Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and driving strategic initiatives to accelerate the next phase of growth for Google Cloud’s Sales Development and Marketing teams integrating AI. This role focuses on defining, implementing, and optimizing the strategy for SDR team expansion while partnering with agencies and internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for augmenting the SDR team
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to refine processes, enhance workflows, and implement best practices for SDR and marketing operations
Align SDR and marketing strategies with broader revenue goals
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operational teams to improve SDR team efficiency and effectiveness
Establish standardized processes for tracking and measuring SDR and marketing performance
Act as a bridge between marketing, sales, and leadership teams
Analyze key performance metrics, market trends, and business insights
Monitor and report on SDR team performance
Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance productivity, conversion rates, and overall revenue impact
Identify opportunities to leverage new tools, technologies, and methodologies
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging best practices
Continuously test, learn, and iterate on strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, business development, or a related role, preferably within sales development, marketing, or go-to-market functions
Proven track record in developing and executing business strategies to optimize sales and marketing operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with performance metrics, KPIs, and data visualization tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Google Analytics)
Ability to influence and work with diverse teams
Strong project management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing analytics platforms
Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills
