Uber Delivery is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager on its Marketplace team to run analyses, launch products and execute programs to create the best delivery experience for delivery partners, consumers, and merchants. The Marketplace team manages real-time efficiency of the 3-sided marketplace to drive growth and profitability for the business. Our mission is to make Uber Delivery the preferred platform for restaurants, merchants, couriers and eaters across Taiwan!
Job Responsibility:
Drive new growth, profitability and efficiencies across our three-sided marketplace in alignment with country goals and strategy through optimizing product settings, launching new products and running initiatives.
Accountable for the smooth operations of the marketplace and superior experience for end users.
Analytics & Research: build dashboards and analyses to uncover insights and track program progress. Identify actionable insights from user research and competitive analysis.
Stakeholder management: Orchestrate and bring together a wide range of cross-functional team members, including Legal, Public Policy, Communications and other external stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.
A competent, decisive, and optimistic team player with potential to be a future leader that can rally many teams and stakeholders to achieve a shared vision.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in related fields such as management consulting, e-commerce, operations, strategy, analytics, and data science.
Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
Intermediate SQL abilities.
Nice to have:
Willingness to #gogetit and execute initiatives with grit and strong ownership.
Inherently curious, you can break down ambiguous problems by applying structure and using data-driven and qualitative insights to solve them.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and highlight actionable insights.
Strong stakeholder, and project management capabilities, you should have the ability to zoom out to see the big picture as well as zoom in on key operational details, while leading cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Ability to gather, structure and analyze quantitative data (intermediate to advanced SQL is required with R / Python as big pluses).
