As part of the broader Strategy & Transformation organisation, the Strategy team play a key role in shaping and defining the long-term vision for Vodafone Business UK. Our mission is to be trusted advisors to the Vodafone Business leadership team, and we collaborate closely with functions across the business to bring strategy through to execution. We do this by providing robust, data-led recommendations which leverage market intelligence, customer insights and competitor analysis ensuring there is a clear link to tangible business outcomes that drive growth, improve customer experience and strengthen our market position. You will lead on strategic projects from initial discovery and assessment through to shaping execution. Working cross-functionally, you will develop integrated perspectives and recommendations that align the business to our long-term vision. You will translate complex market, customer and financial insights into clear strategic choices which support senior leaders to prioritise investment, unlock growth and drive measurable business impact.
Job Responsibility:
Develop innovative methodologies for strategic problem solving, factoring in competitor actions and other sensitivities
Build commercial and financial models to analyse strategic issues that sit at the foundation of key strategy projects
ensuring models are sufficiently flexible to enable changes in key assumptions
Support the Senior Strategy Manager with the development of key strategic hypotheses, recommendations and outputs in conjunction with main stakeholders
Collaborate with stakeholders across other functions to obtain relevant input data, align on modelling methodologies and jointly validate analytical outcomes/conclusions
Keep up to date on key market dynamics and contribute perspectives to the broader team on how Vodafone can enhance its strategic position in the market vs. competitors
Requirements:
Proven experience in defining and delivering strategic initiatives within an enterprise (B2B) environment, whether in industry or consultancy
Strong ability to interpret complex business requirements, market trends, competitor activity and data insights, translating them into clear, actionable strategic recommendations
Demonstrated capability in conveying strategic direction in a coherent, compelling and influential manner to a range of stakeholders
A natural collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships and influence effectively at senior, executive and C suite levels
