Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support and strengthen client asset regulatory practices within the APAC region for the Global Markets business, ensuring compliance with local regulations while aligning with global standards. The Analyst will provide critical oversight, insights, and guidance on APAC client asset processes as part of a globally connected team, helping to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory excellence. Over time, the role may extend to cover client asset practices for other business lines within the firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the APAC region in implementing and maintaining client asset regulatory frameworks and controls, initially for Global Markets
  • Assist in interpreting regional regulatory requirements and ensuring alignment with global policies
  • Collaborate with the global team to ensure consistent application of client asset practices across the regions
  • Conduct reviews and assessments of APAC client asset processes, highlighting issues and recommending improvements
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulators (if required)
  • Monitor APAC regulatory developments and provide insights on potential impacts to client asset practices
  • Support internal and external audits or regulatory inquiries relevant to APAC

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, law or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial services compliance, client asset regulation, or operational risk
  • Knowledge of APAC client asset regulation is preferred
  • understanding of UK/EU frameworks is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
