Job Responsibility
Oversee social media strategy development by leading the development of innovative and effective social media strategies for our clients
Quickly and effectively get up to speed on new categories and clients with little context and time
Navigate conversations around processes and scopes in a clear and productive manner
Challenge client-asks for the sake of better output in a respectful way
Manage and mentor junior team members, by leading, inspiring and developing a team of social media strategists
Collaborate cross-functionally by working closely with creative, account management, and data teams to deliver outstanding results for clients
Proactively identify strategic POVs to share with the department, and/or the agency
Service multiple clients while overseeing more junior team members day-to-day work
Independently craft a variety of strategy deliverables from overarching brand and campaign strategy to more tactical plans such as comms framework and content briefs
Consistently write compelling creative briefs that translates the client's ask into actionable guidance and provides a provocative point of view to help steer creative ideation
Identify and execute thought leadership opportunities for We Are Social
Command the room and sell in work whether internally or externally
Develop strategic frameworks and artifacts to guide new ways of thinking and set a new standard
Enter a workstream with little knowledge and problem-solve immediately
Work with other leads to address client needs and problem-solve complex, non-defined account issues
Requirements
8+ years of experience in a strategic planning capacity, strong preference for creative agency experience
Well versed in seeing and shaping ideas, ensuring creative is elevated beyond a collection of tactics
Passion for wider communications/marketing trends and culture as a whole
Well versed in in the power of social media
Leads by example, but empowers their team to express themselves through their work
