As a Performance Specialist, you will work at the intersection of internet performance, observability, and customer success, helping organizations identify and resolve issues across the full delivery chain before they impact users.
Job Responsibility:
Onboard customers onto the IPM platform following best practices, accelerating time-to-value
Proactively monitor and triage customer digital services, surfacing issues before end-user impact
Identify performance bottlenecks across internet paths, CDNs, DNS, and third-party dependencies
Configure and optimize synthetic test scripts to reflect real user journeys
Act as a trusted technical advisor, sharing best practices and product expertise with customers
Present performance insights and recommendations in regular customer reviews
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Support to resolve issues and improve platform capabilities
Manage customer expectations and communicate clearly during incidents and escalations
Requirements:
2+ years in web performance monitoring, observability, or a related technical domain
Strong knowledge of DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, CDNs, and the browser rendering pipeline
Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, waterfall analysis, and browser DevTools profiling
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to page performance
Understanding of system architecture including servers, load balancers, and networking fundamentals
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
Able to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Customer-first mindset with a track record of building trusted client relationships
Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving
