Job Description

As part of the broader Strategy & Transformation organisation, the Strategy team play a key role in shaping and defining the long-term vision for Vodafone Business UK. Our mission is to be trusted advisors to the Vodafone Business leadership team, and we collaborate closely with functions across the business to bring strategy through to execution. We do this by providing robust, data-led recommendations which leverage market intelligence, customer insights and competitor analysis ensuring there is a clear link to tangible business outcomes that drive growth, improve customer experience and strengthen our market position. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Strategy team delivers on its priorities. We are seeking someone with strong data and insight capabilities who thrives working autonomously. You will have opportunities to develop and build networks across business forums while providing effective support to the Strategy Manager and Senior Manager. In this role you’ll support the Strategy team across varied projects, providing proactive insights and clear communication of perspectives which support the business to make informed decisions.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of strategy projects, developing robust fact bases and recommendations
  • Support the development of complex quantitative analyses using best practice, model-building principles
  • Undertake accurate and timely desk-based research on a wide array of subjects
  • Build and maintain effective networks for gathering information across the organisation
  • Proactively keep up to date on developments in telco and adjacent industries, contributing perspectives to the broader team

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in strategy consulting or in house corporate strategy
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • Proactive, accountable, and motivated, with a desire to learn
  • Skilled at managing diverse stakeholders and navigating ambiguity
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sector is beneficial
