Argenta is seeking a Head of Strategic Transformation to join our US CMO leadership team at our Shawnee site. This role will act as a strategic integrator, strengthening operational discipline, governance, and cross-functional execution to improve performance, clarity, and scalability across the site. Working closely with the site leadership team, you will help translate strategy into clear execution plans, lead transformation initiatives, and strengthen performance management frameworks that enable the site to consistently deliver against its commitments. You will play a critical role in driving operational effectiveness, improving execution discipline, and ensuring cross-functional initiatives are delivered with clarity and accountability. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and operational leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning strategy into meaningful outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate site strategy into clear, prioritised execution plans that drive operational performance and alignment across functions
  • Provide analytical insight and structured thinking to support leadership decision-making and strengthen site-level governance
  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, execution discipline, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Apply operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies to simplify processes and reduce operational complexity
  • Develop and maintain site performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making
  • Strengthen governance forums and operational rhythms to ensure clear accountability, prioritisation, and follow-through
  • Lead complex cross-functional programmes and initiatives, ensuring clear scope, ownership, risk management, and delivery of outcomes
  • Foster strong collaboration across Operations, Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Alliance Management to improve organisational effectiveness and site performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • advanced degree preferred
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience within CDMO, pharmaceutical, biologics, or animal health manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated success leading site-level transformation, operational excellence, or organisational effectiveness initiatives
  • Strong programme and project management capabilities with experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • High financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret performance data and inform strategic decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong executive presence and the ability to influence across a matrixed organisation
  • Strong analytical and organisational capability with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex environments
