Job Description

The Systems Analyst is a hands-on problem solver and player-coach who bridges business goals and technical execution. This role blends analytical rigor, systems thinking, and solution leadership while owning outcomes from discovery through delivery. The Analyst will lead analytical discovery and own the end-to-end success of solutions, from requirements through post-deployment validation. This hybrid position emphasizes analytical thinking, structured communication, and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with corporate objectives. The Analyst will act as a connector between stakeholders and development teams, focusing on requirements management, user story development, backlog support, and solution validation while contributing to strategic technology initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Gather and document business requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders
  • Challenge assumptions, explore root causes, and propose alternative solutions using structured analysis frameworks
  • Create, refine, and manage user stories and product backlog items
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and support solution scoping efforts
  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to ensure clear alignment with objectives
  • Design and prototype business process improvements and data-driven solutions, leveraging automation where feasible
  • Own acceptance criteria, create test scenarios, and lead UAT to ensure deliverables meet business value targets
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and implementation accuracy
  • Coach and mentor BAs
  • facilitate discovery workshops that drive clarity, innovation, and desired business outcomes
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical team
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to align on objectives and clarify expectations
  • Ensure that project goals are well-understood and clearly communicated across teams
  • Co-own QA validation, ensuring business needs are fully met before sign-off
  • Support documentation efforts including user stories, workflows, and project notes
  • Assist in backlog grooming to align deliverables with company goals and departmental priorities
  • Continuously assess how features deliver measurable business impact and recommend prioritization improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in business systems design, process improvement, product management, or data-driven analysis
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at driving insight through disciplined questioning and strategic problem definition
  • Ability to communicate clearly across business and technical audiences

  • Familiarity with risk identification and issue management
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level or strategic technology initiatives
  • Competency in end-user training and support delivery
