This role is responsible for developing the sourcing and procurement strategy for materials and componentry utilised in the manufacture EOS DS’ products at its production facilities in Australia and other locations globally; and for managing supplier performance in accordance with EOS’ commercial, quality, production, and supply chain management objectives. The Strategic Sourcing Manager heads up the Strategic Sourcing team within EOS DS Supply Chain.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and improve EOS DS’ strategic relationships with strategic suppliers locally and internationally
Selection of appropriate vendors for the supply of make-to-order materials and allied services in accordance with EOS DS technical, engineering and commercial objectives
Contribute to the development and enhancement of EOS DS’ global supply chain efficiencies and strategy
Evaluate and review capability and capacity of EOS DS’ existing supply base, and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers
Utilise EOS DS’ MRP system to full advantage and efficiency for quotation management and vendor management tasks
Be a point of escalation for vendor disputes and performance management activities

Requirements:
Comprehensive experience in international sourcing and procurement
Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role with manufacturing and/or engineering organisation, OEM, FMCG, recognised Supply Chains
Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and Bills of Materials
Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing trade or degree qualification
Commercial/business qualifications are also desirable
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is highly regarded
CIPS accreditations are highly regarded
Must be an Australian citizen and be eligible for a security clearance
