Baptist Health is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Agent to join the Coastal Community Health team. This is a hybrid opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides support to Senior Strategic Agent with product review and evaluation for the Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing process
  • Assists with researching and evaluating products based on quality, cost and patient outcomes/project deliverables
  • Performs at an independent level under the direction of the Senior Agent or Director to analyze price proposals, financial data, and other information needed to determine opportunity
  • Supports contract sourcing and analysis for value analysis and strategic sourcing committees throughout Coast Community Health
  • Assists with preparation of RFP and RFI's
  • Enters into negotiations with suppliers, reviewing terms and conditions of contract, and establish pricing
  • Monitors the contract performance and determine necessity for amendments, extensions and compliance by both vendor and CCH under direction of Senior Agent or Director
  • Required travel between Coastal Affiliate locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years Contract Specialist Experience Required
