UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in groundbreaking treatments for auto-immune, neurological, and rare diseases (with locations in Braine-L’Alleud and Anderlecht, is partnering with Randstad Sourceright to find a Strategic Sourcer (Sourcing Recruiter). We are looking for a Strategic Sourcer (Sourcing Recruiter) to help drive a major transformation in talent acquisition for our Client’s most critical projects. Your mission will be to accelerate Time-to-Fill by combining deep expertise in sourcing with strong strategic capabilities.In this role, you will focus on expert talent sourcing, deliver valuable market and talent intelligence, and play a key part in designing and improving recruitment strategies. You will work closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to continuously enhance processes and outcomes. The position also involves leading strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication within the team, and managing relationships with internal teams and Client stakeholders. The role requires one day a week onsite in Braine-L’Alleud and one day in Anderlecht, with the rest of the work done remotely.
Job Responsibility:
Manage complex roles across quality, production, research, and development
Identify and engage talent within the Belgian biotech manufacturing landscape and relevant global markets
Provide valuable market and competitor insights to guide recruitment decisions
Operate as an autonomous sourcing expert, defining your own strategies and advising teams with confidence
Start proactive sourcing immediately and share clear market intelligence
Use Talent Intelligence with Hiring Managers to build tailored recruitment strategies
Support internal talent mapping with Talent Advisors
Collaborate with Employer Branding to create targeted messaging for critical skill sets
Help develop long-term talent pipelines through partnerships and by exploring new technologies and automation
Contribute to improvement initiatives to speed up hiring, enhance candidate experience, and modernize recruitment processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in advanced sourcing, with several years operating as a true strategic “hunter” in technical or scientific environments
Ability to navigate seamlessly across multiple business units and adapt to shifting priorities with ease
Demonstrated mastery of sourcing techniques, tools, and methodologies, with a strong ability to identify, target, and engage niche or hard-to-reach talent
Operates as an autonomous expert and trusted advisor, providing guidance to Hiring Managers and Recruiters and influencing decisions with confidence
Fluent in both English and French, capable of engaging stakeholders and candidates at all seniority levels
Exceptional agility, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a consultative and solutions-oriented approach
Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to collaborate on-site with managers to refine needs, review profiles, and co-develop sourcing strategies
Strong analytical abilities, able to transform complex data and market signals into clear insights and actionable recommendations for business leaders
