The Strategic Sales Associate (SSA) plays a key role in spotting sales opportunities, sparking interest, promoting brand and solution awareness, and supporting sellers to build a strong pipeline. Their main duties include generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, actively sourcing outbound leads, qualifying prospects who show interest, arranging meetings with aligned sellers based on qualification criteria, and collaborating to help close deals. To be successful in this role, the SSA will nurture relationships, build value, handle objections, create urgency, open and assist in the management of the sales cycle, and collaborate strategically with sales and marketing to create a sales pipeline that exceeds quota expectations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications is highly desirable
Experience supporting and advancing qualification and proposal phases of the Sales cycle
Experience in an inside sales role preferred
Outgoing, positive, and friendly personality with a strong willingness to engage over the phone
Demonstrates high responsiveness and accountability
Proven track record of exceeding performance goals and quotas
Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, methodologies, and related technologies
Experience selling enterprise products or services, with a preference for value-based selling methodologies
Excellent communication skills
able to identify customer needs and map business value effectively
Proficient in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications
Strong internet research skills, including use of LinkedIn, Hoovers, and 6Sense to identify target contacts
Skilled in managing multiple qualifications and sales processes simultaneously
Comprehensive understanding of customers and flexibility to address core deliverables while solving business challenges
Ability to rapidly assess situations and develop actionable plans
Open to new ideas and adaptable in fast-paced environments
