In this vital role you will be responsible for leading end-to-end material planning, coordinating the S&OP process, and managing product demand, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with the company’s cross-functional areas. This position plays a key role in critical decision-making, product launches, and supply chain optimization, directly contributing to business results.
Job Responsibility:
Design and manage E2E planning and lifecycle management processes
Translate market growth and portfolio expansion into resource needs
Lead scenario modeling for short-, mid-, and long-term planning
Drive and elevate the S&OP process to align demand, supply, and financial plans
Facilitate cross-functional discussions for prioritization and risk mitigation
Lead monthly demand planning meetings
Establish consensus forecasting with cross-functional stakeholders
Incorporate risk assessments and insights into planning
Secure readiness for product launches and regulatory variations
Coordinate timelines, inventories, and resource requirements
Partner with local, regional, and global teams
Act as strategic point of contact for demand, supply, inventory, and risk
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives
Improve data accuracy and planning governance
Optimize inventory levels, minimize expiries, and support risk-based strategies
Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and alignment
Drive KPIs: forecast accuracy, service levels, waste, inventory health
Identify and escalate supply risks to senior leadership
Requirements:
Master’s degree with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain operations OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in Supply Chain operations
Experience in Supply Chain with a focus on materials and demand planning
strong knowledge of product launches, inventory management, imports, and customs clearance
Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of GMP, regulations, and experience in Sales and Operations Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes
Familiarity with master data management in ERP systems, with specific experience in SAP R/3
Experience with Kinaxis and Trackwise/Veeva is desirable
APICS certification – CPIM or CSCP is a plus
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels, with the ability to present to leadership teams
Strategic thinking with a strong focus on innovation, artificial intelligence, and new technological tools
Nice to have:
Experience with Kinaxis and Trackwise/Veeva
APICS certification – CPIM or CSCP
Desirable experience in managing inventories for public channels, including government agreements and institutional programs (e.g., Convenios, ACE)
