Lead strategic relationship management and partnership development with senior stakeholders across the construction sector and public sector/government bodies
Build and maintain high-level, influential relationships with executives and delivery partners, acting as a trusted advisor
Provide strategic direction by identifying opportunities, risks, and issues within construction supply chains, delivery, and commercial frameworks
Analyse complex or ambiguous information and translate it into clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers
Manage multiple strategic workstreams autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning delivery of long-term objectives
Ensure compliance with public sector governance, assurance, and accountability requirements across all partnership activities
Drive continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, and long-term partnership success across organisational boundaries
Requirements:
Proven experience in strategic relationship management, partnership management or senior stakeholder engagement roles
Construction sector experience or strong working knowledge, including supply chains, delivery environments and commercial drivers
Experience of working within, or closely with, the public sector / government environment, with an understanding of governance, assurance and accountability
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, multi stakeholder settings, balancing competing priorities and interests
Strong strategic thinking, able to set direction, identify opportunities and manage issues proactively rather than reactively
Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with credibility at senior and executive levels
Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple workstreams and long term objectives effectively
Confident in working autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning outcomes without reliance on task by task direction
Able to analyse complex or ambiguous information and translate it into clear, actionable insight for decision makers
Comfortable operating in a strategic, outcome focused role, rather than a purely task driven or administrative one
Proactive, resilient and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery
