Job Description:

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Powered by premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology, we’re making it easier for buyers and sellers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels. As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world. FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, is hiring a Strategic Relationship Director to join the US Supply team. This role owns long term, executive level monetization relationships with premium publishers, with a specific focus on programmatic CTV, SSP strategy, and scalable revenue growth. The Director serves as a senior commercial and strategic partner to publishers as they navigate the evolution of programmatic marketplaces, demand consolidation, and hybrid monetization models across direct and programmatic channels. This role is accountable for shaping portfolio level programmatic strategy, expanding inventory access and prioritization, and ensuring FreeWheel remains a critical monetization partner through differentiated technology, marketplace leadership, and trusted advisory relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set and execute multi quarter and annual growth plans across a portfolio of premium publishers, with accountability for programmatic revenue expansion, SSP adoption, and marketplace performance
  • Define and drive publisher specific programmatic strategies, including inventory access models, auction and packaging frameworks, pricing philosophies, and demand enablement priorities, in partnership with internal teams
  • Establish and grow inventory access, prioritization, and supply path alignment across FreeWheel’s SSP and broader marketplace, ensuring premium inventory is positioned for maximum demand and yield
  • Provide thought leadership on programmatic CTV trends, including SPO evolution, demand consolidation, auction dynamics, and buyer behavior, translating market shifts into actionable publisher strategies
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketplace Operations, and Demand leadership to influence roadmap priorities, represent publisher needs, and ensure scalable solutions that drive revenue and operational efficiency
  • Lead strategic business reviews and roadmap alignment discussions with publishers, connecting FreeWheel’s product vision and marketplace capabilities to publisher monetization objectives
  • Maintain deep understanding of the competitive and SSP landscape, using market intelligence to inform strategy, strengthen FreeWheel’s value proposition, and guide publisher decision making
  • Identify and accelerate strategic growth opportunities, including new distribution models, emerging programmatic capabilities, and innovative monetization approaches across platforms and screens
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance, balancing publisher needs, marketplace health, and FreeWheel’s long term strategic goals
  • Mentor and develop senior team members, setting strategic direction, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring consistent, high quality engagement across the publisher portfolio
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, with variable schedules as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 Years + relevant work experience
  • Skills: Monetization
  • Programmatic Strategy
  • Executive Relationship Management
  • Revenue Growth
