The Principal Strategic Pursuit Lead at NTT DATA will spearhead significant transformation opportunities, managing complex deals worth £25m–£100m+. This role requires over 10 years of experience in strategic pursuits and a proven track record in securing high-value deals. The successful candidate will engage with C-suite stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and market differentiation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end strategic pursuits for £25m–£100m+ multi-tower transformation deals in highly competitive, comparative bid environments
Shape client strategy early in the lifecycle, engaging pre-RFP to position NTT DATA for success and influence solution direction
Orchestrate large, virtual cross-functional teams across Sales, Solutioning, Commercial, Delivery, Legal, and Partners to build compelling, differentiated propositions
Develop and execute sophisticated competitive win strategies, informed by market intelligence, client insight, and commercial positioning
Integrate complex solution towers into a cohesive, outcome-focused narrative aligned to client business priorities
Lead executive governance for strategic pursuits, ensuring risk mitigation, financial rigour, and quality assurance throughout the deal lifecycle
Engage directly with client C-suite stakeholders during competitive dialogue, presenting compelling value propositions that resonate at board level
Drive discipline, structure, and pace across the pursuit lifecycle to maximise probability of win and deliver measurable growth impact
Requirements:
10+ years’ experience leading strategic pursuits, capture management, or complex transformation bids within global IT services or consulting environments
Proven track record of leading and securing deals of at least £50m+, ideally within the £25m–£100m+ range
Deep expertise in complex multi-tower solution orchestration across technology, digital, cloud, data, and managed services domains
Strong competitive strategy and deal-shaping capability — able to identify differentiation levers and convert them into compelling client value
Executive presence with the credibility to influence C-suite stakeholders internally and externally
Commercial acumen and governance discipline, balancing ambition with risk management and financial rigour
The ability to lead through influence, mobilising high-performing virtual teams across functions and markets
