Job Description:

The job entails a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Purchaser to Join our Dynamic Team. The jobholder will have a strong background in procurement, with a focus on mechanical and non- metallic components. The role involves sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to support our operational needs. The role also includes establishing and maintaining procurement agreements and collaborating with our Swedish organization. You will work closely with the Procurement Manger.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for primarily mechanical and non-metallic components
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality, sustainability and delivery standards
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and delivery terms
  • Draft, negotiate and review contracts to ensure they align with company policies, legal commercial requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
