Job Description:

Responsible for developing customer-focused, strategically positioned proposal responses for corporate constituents including brokers/consultants, prospects and customers. Works on moderately complex proposals and requires ability to interpret customer needs and create compelling value propositions.

Job Responsibility:

Developing customer-focused, strategically positioned proposal responses
Working on moderately complex proposals and broker/consultant surveys/RFIs
Writing and editing in accordance with company brand standards, plain language and internal RFP style guide standards
Applying research and data gathering skills
Interpreting and understanding the needs of the customer
Working with other team members to create a compelling, well-articulated value proposition
Using proposal database and established department workflows to respond to questionnaires or ad hoc proposal requests

Requirements:

2+ years experience in sales support, marketing, journalism, communications and/or proposal writing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer
Proficient writing skills
Proven time management abilities
Experience managing multiple priorities
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the health insurance industry
Request For Proposal (RFP) experience
