Job Description:

The Strategic Proposal Consultant's primary responsibility is to support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on overall capabilities and the Aetna value story. This position offers a high level of visibility in Corporate and/or Government proposals and provides team members with a broad perspective of our business, customers and the solutions we offer.

Job Responsibility:

Support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals
Project management of low to medium complexity RFPs
Participate in discussion of strategy and ensure it is reflected in proposals
Have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of responses
Work on proposals for National Accounts, Middle Market, and Public and Labor constituents
Respond to proposal follow-up
Complete ad-hoc requests
Participate in project initiatives

Requirements:

2+ years of project management, sales support role desired
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Experience managing multiple priorities
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think outside of the box and solve problems
Effectively working in a team environment
