Job Description:

The Strategic Proposal Consultant's primary responsibility is to support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on overall capabilities and the Aetna value story. This position offers a high level of visibility in Corporate proposals and provides team members with a broad perspective of our business, customers and the solutions we offer.

Job Responsibility:

Support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals
Project management of low to medium complexity RFPs
Participate in the discussion of strategy and ensure it is reflected in our proposal
Have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of our response
Work on a wide range of proposals for our National Accounts and Middle Market constituents
Responding to proposal follow-up
Completing ad-hoc requests
Participating in project initiatives

Requirements:

2+ years of project management, sales support role desired
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer
Proven time management abilities
Experience managing multiple priorities
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Nice to have:

Knowledge of health insurance industry is desired
Request For Proposal (RFP) experience
